LOGIN

Access to the research database requires a personnel userid, which is different from the traditional student ids. To obtain a personnel ID, submit an (1) application and (2) letter of agreement to helpdesk. The application is located at the helpdesk website: http://www.miun.se/Helpdesk/For-anstallda/Kontohantering/SkapaTa-bort-konto/

1. The letter of agreement can be obtained from the vaktmästeri, which is located on each campus.
2. When you have received your userid and password from helpdesk, log in to the studentportal (http://portal.miun.se). This will synchronise your userid with the different database systems at the university. 
3. When you have logged in studentportal, go to the research database (http://researchdatabase.miun.se) and log in using the log in button in the upper right-hand corner.

 Additional access for students and tutors

1. If you are a graduate student or academic advisor you will need additional permissions to access the study plans. After you have logged in to the research database, contact Kristen Snyder at helpdesk@miun.se to request either student or tutor rights to the system. 
2. When you have received the additional rights, you will be able to work with the study plans, which is located in the left-hand menu.
